CN Tower boss gets breathtaking view of Toronto while walking on ledge

If skydiving and bungee jumping are not thrilling enough, you will soon be able to take a walk on the ledge of the CN Tower, 356 metres (1,168 feet) above the ground.

The CN Tower announced the EdgeWalk last month and now we have video of Mark Laroche, President and CEO of Canada Lands Company, taking a walk to see how construction is going and take in some breathtaking views.

As is shown in the video, thrill-seekers will be put in a harness and clipped into an overhead rail. The walk around the 1.5-metre-wide ledge will take about 20 to 30 minutes.

"EdgeWalk is both thrilling and unique and will push visitors to their limits - literally and figuratively," said Laroche to The Canadian Press in May.

They are hoping to open the attraction to the public at the beginning of August. Tickets will be $175 and will include a video and photos of the walk plus a certificate of achievement.
