Must-see videos of the week – Nov. 23

From people camping for a week to get the best Black Friday shopping deals to a horse walking into a Toronto hotel, we've seen some great videos this week. Here are some of our favourites:

1. Tiger cubs nursed by dog

Now here is something you definitely don't see every day, but proves how different kinds of animals can get along. Three orphaned tiger cubs in Russia are getting their milk from an unusual place — a white Swiss Shepherd dog. The cubs were abandoned by their birth mother and Oktyabrsky zoo staff searched for a surrogate tiger mother, but filled the spot with the dog, the the Telegraph reports. The cubs initially hissed at the dog, which looks a lot like the one from the movie The NeverEnding Story, but the mother was patient until the cubs started eating. We also learn from this video that tiger cubs make one of the most annoying sounds in the world. Even more annoying than the sound Lloyd Christmas made in the movie Dumb and Dumber.

2. Marty walks into the Royal York

It's Grey Cup weekend in Toronto, meaning Torontonians get to see a lot of things they don't see that often. There are tons of people walking the streets in green Saskatchewan Roughriders jerseys (even though their team isn't playing), there are lots of white cowboy hats and a horse strolled into one of Toronto nicest and well-known hotels. Calgary Stampeders fans were trying to recreate a stunt that first began at the 1948 Grey Cup, but were initially denied access to the hotel. So they went for a tour of the city, which even included getting some beer (for the horse) at McVeigh's Pub. The Royal York people must have had a change of heart, because they eventually Marty in ... and he even put his hoof print in the guest book.

3. Camping out for Black Friday deals

Friday kicked off the holiday shopping season in the U.S. with Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. Retailers in the U.S. and Canada offer huge discounts and people camp out for days hoping to be the first through the doors. So if you wonder what it's like to camp out for nearly a week, meet Jack Syharath. The Arkansas man started camping on Saturday and shows the local news outlet his tent and how he keeps busy during the days.

4. Sea King helicopter lands at Nova Scotia Shoppers Drug Mart

The massive Canadian Military chopper was returning from a routine training mission when it had hydraulics issues and had to make an immediate emergency landing. The best place they could find was an empty field next to a busy shopping area in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

"To think that you're going to be putting it in a parking lot or into an area like this, it's not something you necessarily want to do," said Lt.-Col. Jeff Fletcher. "When it happens, your training kicks in."

None of the five people aboard were injured.

5. Bored guys create bike at airport

We all know having to kill time at an airport sucks, but instead of just reading or playing on an iPad, these four guys decided to have a little fun. They configured themselves so they look like they are a bicycle with one person riding it. It looks like the guy being the pedals and the guy being seat — who has his head in a friend's butt — definitely drew the short straws in this stunt.
