Pope Francis going to the Vatican, but Francis Pope is staying in Toronto
The new pope has chosen the name Francis, after the saint who dedicated his life to helping the poor.
However, he isn't the only man in the world with the words 'Pope' and 'Francis' in his name. It's an awkward day to be Francis Pope, the Toronto investment manager who's preparing for an influx of jokes, according to the Toronto Star.
He told the newspaper that strangers have already started adding him on LinkedIn. He also bears some resemblance to the leader of the Catholic Church.
Mr. Pope isn't alone in his connection to the pontiff. Dr. Francis Pope, a lecturer in atmospheric science at the University of Birmingham, might be feeling holier today too.
And spare a thought for the University of Birmingham's Dr Francis Pope, who's going to get a lot of spam email from now on.

The Atlantic Wire also contacted a Frank Pope in Chicago whose Facebook page was gathering a string of bad jokes. There's also an actor named Francis Pope, according to the Internet Movie Database.

A former correspondent for The Times of London, Frank Pope, posted to his Facebook today a tweet by the newspaper clarifying that he is not the pope.
Clarification: Frank Pope, ex-Ocean Correspondent for The Times, is not Pope Francis, the new leader of the Catholic Church. Thank you.

Thank you for clearing up that point, Times. We will avoid any misplaced reverence to the world's Popes.
