Taylor Swift 'shakes it off' with 7-year-old superfan

A 7-year-old who made his appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show last week after a video of him dancing to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ went viral got to perform with the superstar herself.

Swift posted a short video to her Twitter and Instagram accounts, which features her ‘shaking it off' with her new biggest dan, Dylan Barnes.

Appearing on ‘The Ellen Show,’ the young dancer from Overland Park, Kansas, spoke about his passion for dance.

“I’ve been dancing since I was five, so that’s been two years,” Barnes told DeGeneres.

The second grader received an overwhelming amount of support from his classmates after his original video, which was posted to Facebook, went viral.

“I was coming home from dance class and they threw a gigantic parade for me and so they had signs, and then they had little pom-poms,” he said.

Barnes was also able to see Swift’s concert while she was in Kansas, thanks to DeGeneres.
