Erin Bateman, Manitoba woman, dies in Minnesota crash
A Manitoba woman is dead after a crash in Minnesota on the weekend.
Erin Bateman, 38, was involved in a four-vehicle crash in Albertville, Minn., on Sunday. She died of her injuries, Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash happened on the I-94. Police said four cars were involved in a rear-end collision.
Three other Manitobans were in the car with Bateman at the time. A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured. A 62-year-old man and 63-year-old woman, both from Winnipeg, were not seriously hurt in the crash, police said.
Police said Bateman was not wearing a seatbelt.
No other details are available at this time.
