Robin Williams, Rob Ford, ISIS, Kate Middleton, Malaysia Airlines, Joan Rivers and Frozen round out Yahoo Canada's list of top searches this year.
Its Year In Review is an annual look back at the top stories and trends of the year based on the daily search habits of people on Yahoo Canada and Yahoo Quebec.
Yahoo Quebec's top searches included names like Julie Snyder, Ginette Reno, Giles Latulippe and Amal Alamuddin.
In terms of top newsmakers, the Ford family drama has finally been overtaken by events such as the Jian Ghomeshi scandal and criminal allegations and the sudden loss of former Finance Minister, Jim Flaherty.
“Yahoo's Year In Review reflects the true curiosity of our users," said Claude Galipeau, country manager for Yahoo Canada.
