Saskatoon police ask for public's help in missing woman case

Saskatoon police are continuing their search for Dorothy Woods and now they're asking landowners in outlying areas to check their properties.

Police say the 45-year-old Woods, who's been missing for a month, may have been the victim of foul play.

They want people to check outbuildings, abandoned yards and wellsites and report if they see anything suspicious.

Woods, a married mother of two children who's well-known in the Saskatoon roller derby community, was last seen leaving her home on Riel Crescent.

There has been no contact with family or friends, and no banking activity since she vanished.

A 49-year-old man who's been interviewed by police remains a person of interest in the case, the police said.
