Saskatoon's Salvation Army kettle campaign kicks off

The downtown Christmas decorations are going up, the Santa Claus parade is set for this weekend, and now the familiar jingle jangle of the Salvation Army kettle campaign is ringing out in stores and shopping malls across Saskatoon.

The official kick off happened today at the Midtown Plaza as Mayor Don Atchison made the symbolic first drop in the kettle.

The goal for this year’s kettle campaign is $275,000. All the money raised stays in Saskatoon.
