Snow storm threat closes southern schools

Many schools across parts of southern New Brunswick are closing on Thursday in advance of a possible snow storm.

Environment Canada has issued winter storm warnings for parts of New Brunswick, which is forecasting as much of 30 centimetres of snow for southern regions of the province on Thursday.

The Anglophone West School District has closed schools in Harvey and McAdam.

The Anglophone South School District has closed schools in Saint John, St. Stephen, Belleisle, Hampton and the Kennebecasis Valley. The district’s schools in Sussex, Norton, Apohaqui are open.

Francophone South schools in Saint John and Quispamsis are also closed.
