Tourists' passports stolen from vehicle

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said tourists from the United States had their passports stolen from their vehicle on Monday night.

According to police, the vehicle was broken into on Duckworth Street and the passports, as well as a number of other valuable items, were taken.

American bank and Visa cards, a camera, phone, jewelry and cash were also taken from the vehicle.

Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
