One person has died and one was injured in an overnight crash in Saint-André-Avellin, Que.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said a 60-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle around 1:15 a.m. on Thursday and swerved into a ditch.

She and her lone passenger, a man in his 70s, were both taken to the hospital.
