Infamous motorcycle vlogger and Colorado State Patrol person of interest Rendon Dietzmann, aka Gixxer Brah, was sentenced to two weeks in a Colorado jail after pleading guilty to an exhibition of speed, according to CBS News. On top of that, Dietzmann will be required to pay a $2300 fine ($300 for the charge and $1996 for the extradition) and will lose the ability to drive in Colorado for at least a year, thanks to the addition of 12 points on his license.

The stunt that precipitated these charges was a point-of-view video filmed last September, showing Dietzmann in a one-man, point-to-point race between Colorado Springs and Denver. The video, which has since been removed from YouTube, was titled “From Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 Minutes,” with raw footage of the high-speed run sparking the interest of the Colorado State Patrol earlier this year.

Riding at speeds up to 173 mph and splitting between cars on a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle, officers with the Colorado State Patrol partnered with investigators in Dallas to identify and locate Dietzmann. An arrest warrant was issued in January and Dietzmann was eventually extradited to Colorado to face trial for the charges of menacing, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 mph over prima facie limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed, and vehicle having no number plates attached.

"It's tricky because it's getting harder and harder to post stuff without getting in trouble. In more than one way, " Dietzmann said in a YouTube video following the incident, potentially referencing the social media manhunt coordinated between the Dallas Police Department and Colorado State Patrol.

Dietzmann has found an extra helping of notoriety from the incident, with his YouTube channel sitting at 277,000 subscribers and fellow moto-vloggers celebrating him following the arrest. Similarly, Dietzmann has been selling merchandise on his website with the slogan "Colorado’s Most Wanted". The Centennial State certainly wants to make an example out of the rider, though he continues to post weekly videos of his adventures, albeit featuring more relaxed riding.
