These 4 SC restaurants are among the 100 most romantic in the US for 2024, OpenTable says

OpenTable, a popular online restaurant reservation service, recently released its picks for the 100 most romantic restaurants in America.
To determine this year’s selections, OpenTable analyzed over 12 million diner reviews and metrics to find the restaurants highest rated for the topic by diners, which resulted in the list of the top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America for 2024.
Of these, four South Carolina establishments were named.
The romantic restaurants can be found dotted around the Palmetto State in Pee Dee, the Lowcountry and the Midlands.
Saluda’s in Columbia offers guests a fine dining experience focused on Southern classics with French and Italian influences while being located less than a mile from the state capitol building.
In the Pee Dee region on Pawley’s Island, Frank’s Outback is a courtyard dining experience with a garden setting under a canopy of trees.
Down in the Lowcountry, Charleston’s Peninsula Grill is a four-diamond and four-star restaurant that is hidden in the center of the city’s Historic District. At dusk, carriage lanterns in the garden that the fine dining establishment lies among are lit by hand, adding to the atmosphere and renowned ambiance of the beloved locale.
Chez Georges Bistro & Bar on Hilton Head Island was the final restaurant to be named on the list of notable romantic restaurants by OpenTable.
The sophisticated, neighborhood French bistro serves a myriad of delightful menus for Sunday brunch, Aperitif hour, lunch, dinner and drinks menu. The fine dining establishment describes itself as a French bistro with a Lowcountry accent that serves as a gathering place for families, friends and neighbors.
To add to the romantic setting, Chez Georges will be hosting a Valentine’s Apéritif Hour Wine Tasting to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year on Tuesday, where four different wines will be paired with a curated cheese board.
