70-year-old taken to jail after threatening Fort Worth restaurant worker with gun: police
A 70-year-old woman is accused of threatening an employee at a Fort Worth restaurant with a gun after demanding that he refund her money, police said.
The suspect entered Taqueria Mi Ranchito, located at 5727 Crowley Road, on Thursday afternoon, police said. An employee told officers the woman insisted the staff had taken her money and demanded a refund. She then pulled a small handgun out of her bag and pointed it at the employee under the table, the employee told police.
The suspect, identified by police as Josefina Luna, denied having a firearm. Officers later found a small bag containing a handgun that matched the one described by the employee, police said.
Luna was arrested Thursday afternoon and booked into the Fort Worth City Jail. She’s being held in the Tarrant County Jail on $25,000 bond, according to court records. She faces a charge of aggravated robbery.
