These 9 Sacramento restaurants, bars and breweries have Super Bowl deals and specials
The Super Bowl is the perfect excuse to swap a home-cooked meal for one of the many football-related food and drink deals happening across the Sacramento area.
The Super Bowl LVIII kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will play at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the home of the Raiders.
The Sacramento Bee complied a group of Sacramento-area restaurants and sports bars, from downtown to Rancho Cordova, offering Super Bowl Sunday discounts, menu specials, exclusive wing flavors, raffles and happy hour deals.
Here’s the list:
Tank House BBQ & Bar
Location: 1925 J St., Sacramento
Tank House BBQ & Bar has adopted the slogan “Eat ‘Em & Beat ‘Em,” all week long, according to its Instagram page, in preparation for Super Bowl Sunday.
The midtown barbecue joint is serving Kansas City-inspired food and drinks, from loaded fries to cider.
“We got bad blood and no we can’t shake it off! The Niners are coming for revenge and we’re eating and drinking our way to victory here at Tank House,” the barbecue restaurant wrote in a Tuesday Instagram post to its more than 20,000 followers.
The menu includes a $14 batch of KC Dirty Fries with pulled pork, cheese and Kansas City barbecue sauce, and a $16 or $30 rack of KC Spare Ribs slathered with the same sauce.
Also available are $12 glasses of the Kansas City Ice Water made with vodka, gin and lime soda, as well as the Horsefeather made with whiskey ginger syrup, soda and aromatic bitters.
Porchlight Brewing Co
Location: 866 57th St., Sacramento
Porchlight Brewing Co in East Sacramento will offer $1 off beer and wine glasses from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to a Feb. 4 Facebook post to customers.
Smash burgers will be available for purchase from catering company Sacramento Piggyback Catering.
The brewery is expecting indoor space to be limited and advises customers to come early.
Lefty’s Eatery & Taproom
Location: 5610 Elvas Ave. Sacramento
Lefty’s Eatery & Taproom in East Sacramento will cook up appetizer specials as well as a “new” and “exclusive” wing flavor for Super Bowl Sunday, the business wrote in a Feb. 4 Facebook post.
Current wing flavors include buffalo, barbecue, mango habanero and garlic Parmesan.
Hoptology Beer Lab + Kitchen
Location: 2001 J St., Sacramento
Hoptology Beer Lab + Kitchen will serve happy hour specials from 2 p.m. to the end of the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to a Monday Facebook post.
Hoptogy Beer Lab, in the community of Boulevard Park, will also host a Super Bowl raffle with prizes given at the end of each quarter of the game. The brewery advises customers to come early to join.
B-Side
Location: 1430 S St., Sacramento
B-side, a 70s dive bar in midtown, will host a Super Bowl LVIII watch party on Sunday with drink specials all day long.
The bar will serve $10 beers and $7 cocktails, according to a Monday Facebook post.
Idle Hour
Location: 6816 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento
Idle Hour will host a Super Bowl LVIII watch party at 4 p.m. on Sunday with $3.50 shots and $4 bottled beers, the business stated on its Facebook page.
The sports bar, nestled in the community of Avondale, is also hosting a potluck and asks customers to bring their “favorite dish.” They’ll supply the pizza and nachos.
Clubhouse 56
Location: 723 56th St., Sacramento
Clubhouse 56 in East Sacramento will provide a “hassle free spot” to watch the Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday with game-day specials, according to a Tuesday Facebook post.
“Catch every tackle, touchdown, and triumph at Clubhouse 56,” the sports bar stated.
Customers are urged to come early for a good seat to watch the game unfold in front of television and theater screens.
Pho Fresh
Location: 10673 Coloma Road, Rancho Cordova
For a limited time, Pho Fresh Vietnamese Noddles is offering a catering special through Sunday for the Super Bowl LVIII.
According to a Tuesday Facebook post, the short menu includes:
50 egg rolls - $50
40 wings - $50
40 potstickers (pepper and salt or spicy honey) - $40
40 spicy-baked mussels - $50
Orders should be made directly through the restaurant at 916-706-2523.
Vegan options will be available for pick-up or dine-in from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, the restaurant stated.
MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company
Location: 728 K St., Sacramento
MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company is offering half of its pizza and wings on Sunday for customers who dine in the restaurant, according to a Tuesday Facebook post to customers.
The catch is the deal is only valid during the game.
