If there’s one thing fans can’t expect to see on 90 Day Fiancé, it’s couples seeing eye to eye.

Sunday night’s episode was an exploration of patience, as well as compromise — many of which have not yet been reached. The episode included one major cheating scandal, a meet-the-parents moment and a declaration that sex is key to happiness, regardless of both parties’ interests.

As the weeks continue on and the couples adjust to their new surroundings, stress only grows. Jasmine found herself with full body hives after exposure to Gino’s filthy living environment, and a new 90 Day lead, Clayton, introduced viewers to his apartment full of guinea pigs, chihuahuas and his mother, who lives in his closet.

Here are the best (and worst) parts from Sunday’s episode.

Rob and Sophie

From kids to dating apps, Rob and Sophie struggled to find peace. It began with a debrief of their individual wants for parenthood. For Rob, kids are non-negotiable. “There’s no version of my future where I don’t have a family,” he told cameras. “And so Sophie should be with someone who doesn't want to have children. If that's what she wants, she should find someone who wants the same thing.”

Sophie took her time explaining her prior medical concerns, and why that’s led her to shy away from pregnancy. Rob was mainly understanding and agreed they could explore surrogacy. Later, though, in conversation without Rob, Sophie questioned having children at all.

“Because of the fact that I don't want to get pregnant, I've never really thought about kids kind of type thing,” she said. “But obviously, as you know, I am like a massive people pleaser. But like obviously, this is my life as well. So it's like I'm not going to people please from, like, my future, you know, I don't want to have children if I'm going to resent the kids.”

That was just the start of their drama on Sunday night. Sophie and Rob hit the clubs with two of their friends. Rob’s friend previously saw Sophie on a dating app and assumed she was cheating. Sophie, though, maintains she was using the friend side of the app — and brought a pal along to prove her point. The men then put the social media scandal to rest.

But the conversation — which ventured into the idea of bisexuality — made Sophie uncomfortable. Sophie identifies as bisexual but has yet to come out. “That was super awkward moment because … Rob doesn't know that I'm bi. It's like I'm going to lie because I'm not going to come out right now in front of three people,” she said.

Of her continued use of the friend app, Sophie told cameras, “I'm still on that app to make friends because I don't know anyone out here. And there's bi women on the friend side like you can be bi and still look for friends. As long as I don't do anything to disrespect him, it's like I feel like I should be allowed to do that.”

The final straw — or so it seems — came when Sophie had a dream that Rob was cheating on her. This led to her snooping through his phone, and what she found was nothing short of shocking. In recent days, Rob had been engaging in sexual conversations with several women online — something he’d done in the past as well.

“I went on this one app and, like basically he's been getting, like, disgusting videos from other women and asking for nudes. And he's like, entertaining it,” she said.

The last time this happened, one of the videos showed Rob “w—ing off” to a woman’s sexual content — and he sent the video to the woman in question. “No wonder he never asked me for sexual videos. He's getting them from, like, I don't know how many girls. It's just a lot,” Sophie told the cameras.

“No one wants to see their partner, you know, get turned on for anyone other than them. If you're getting pictures from another person that's not your partner and jacking off to them and watching all this disgusting stuff and requesting videos and having a fun time with some other partner, that's cheating,” Sophie continued. “Some people might look at it as not, but to me that's disrespectful and it's hurtful. So for me, I consider it cheating. He did this before and I nearly broke up with him because it was like just after a year.”

Sophie was unsure of what to do. She rented herself a temporary room so she didn’t have to share space with Rob. But her entire future in America hangs in the balance. “I don't want to throw away my whole life that I've been trying to build, to be in LA with Rob, it's like I've got, I have to give up that, I have to give up that dream,” she said. “And he just gets to live the same life with no consequences. He doesn't have to leave. He just gets to do what he's doing.”

Nikki tells Justin she'll leave for America if he withholds sex from her.

Nikki and Justin’s fight about a lack of sex continued — and accelerated.

Still in a park in Moldova, the pair spoke about their needs in a relationship, and Nikki declared it was time for her to return to America. Why? Because Justin wouldn’t take the time to sexually satisfy her.

“I've never been deprived of sex before in my life. You need to do more than roses,” she said. “I need more. It's got to be a whole lot more.”

To the cameras, Justin said Nikki’s personality often leads to impatience. “The bothers about Nikki [are] she [doesn’t] have patience and sometimes she's pushing too much. Like, I want sex. I want sex, like, [a] sex-machine. And my body [is] still trying to [open] for Nikki and I need the time for that. It's not easy.”

When Justin asked Nikki to retain her “power for love” instead of fighting, she softened. She said her hormone medications often make her impulsive when it comes to emotions, and the argument was dismissed.

Later at dinner, Nikki and Justin spoke about the importance of love — and choosing someone with your whole heart. The conversation detailed Nikki’s transition, which someone in the restaurant overheard. Nikki declared she’d been “clocked” as patrons glared at their table. Justin stood up to kiss Nikki on the cheek, taking a stand against the assumed transphobia of the people around them.

"What you're doing is standing up and showing the world that you love me regardless of what anybody thinks. That's what matters the most to me,” she said of their relationship.

Justin also hoped it would change the minds of others. “I hope that Nikki with my [choice to be with her], we open more doors and more friends in the future. People [could be] more open-minded.”

Clayton & Annalee

Clayton prepares for Annalee to move to America.

An all-new couple shared their love story on Sunday night, and it started with a house full of animals and a mom living in a walk-in closet. Clayton took cameras inside his apartment as he encouraged his mom to eliminate some of her things that cluttered the space.

“I do feel for my mom and understand that she wants to hang on to what she does have,” he said, stating that his mom isn’t a hoarder but has “tendencies” toward the behavior. “But at the same time, I want enough space for me and my fiance to live comfortably.”

With his love from Peru, Annalee, coming to America soon, Clayton wants the impression of his life to be only good. “I'm worried that Annalee is going to get here and see how disorganized it is and think that maybe she made a mistake coming here,” he said. “She tends to have like no tolerance whatsoever. If something is annoying to her, she'll instantly just be like, you know, I hate that or I don't want to do it. It scares me when she does that type of thing, honestly. But right now, you know, I don't really know what to do other than try to clear out some space.”

Annalee and Clayton met on a language education app. She clicked on his profile but didn’t message him. This led Clayton to slide into her DMs. After eight months of talking, they met in Peru. Four days in person led Clayton to propose. “She said, 'Aww.' And then didn't say anything else. I was like, 'So yes?'” he said.

“It was kind of like a delayed yes,” he continued. “So I'm hoping it wasn't like by coercion or force, but I did get the yes in the end. So I guess that’s a win.”

There’s one major concern that Clayton is choosing to ignore for now — Annalee’s dad. Though they’ve been together for two and a half years, Annalee’s father still doesn’t know Clayton exists. And it’s not that she’s estranged from her family. “He calls her like an abnormal amount of times per day,” Clayton told a friend. “Like, he will call her literally like 20 times per day. So they're like, you know, really, really close.”

It’s still a conversation Clayton wants to have when the time is right. “I've kind of been holding off on talking to Cameron about Annalee, not telling her dad because it really sucks feeling like you're being hidden,” he said. “You know, I've had past relationships dealing with that. And, you know, I don't want to relive that and I don't want to work up insecurities that I may have overcome.”

Gino and Jasmine

Jasmine shows emotion surrounding her child's absence in America.

Jasmine was red with fury on Sunday night’s episode — literally.

She was still settling into America — and Gino’s home — when she broke out in full-body hives. Jasmine is no stranger to skin issues, which can be triggered by dust, dander, mold — you name it. But Gino was convinced it had to be the almonds Jasmine ate for breakfast.

For the American native, it couldn’t be the state of his home. “I would describe that dirty house as like one of those homes, like you have a hoarder in it and they got piles of garbage all over the place,” he told the cameras. “That's dirty in my eyes. My house does not look like that. I don't hoard anything. I don't have piles of garbage in my house. I definitely don't live like a slob or anything.”

Things got worse when Gino accused Jasmine of living in an apartment with mice, framing his home as much better. Though this caused Jasmine to explode, she calmed enough to speak from the heart.

Jasmine asked Gino to help her clean the place up, to at least eliminate things like the “black s---” all over his bathroom. “Forget about the allergic reaction, forget about anything. Just for me to feel like I'm home, that this is a home to me, I need your help, baby,” she said. “There are certain things that we need to take more care of. Like, take me to buy a new pillow. Is it that expensive? If we get a new set of blankets, of sheets, it would be helpful if we change the pillows for new ones.”

And they did. Despite Gino’s denial he needs a new pillow, the pair made a trek to buy new bedding. Jasmine even consulted with a saleswoman who said they should change their pillows every six months — not every six years like Gino is used to. “It's very upsetting that, you know, [you] cannot see how nasty the house is and that it is causing me to be sick,” Jasmine told the cameras. “I've been giving up my whole life to be here with him in Michigan, and we're supposed to be building a life together, one in which I can bring my kids into. So this is serious.”

Later, Jasmine got emotional about missing her son. “It's a huge sacrifice for Jasmine to come to [the] United States and, you know, give up being around her kids, separated from her family, her children, her friends, all of that,” Gino acknowledged. “And she did all of that to come here for me. That's true love.“

Devin and Nick

Devin prepares to meet Nick's parents.

It was almost time for Devin to meet Nick’s parents on Sunday night — but they had lots of preparation ahead to get the American woman ready for Korean culture. Speaking with her boyfriend ahead of time, Devin learned how to properly display her manners.

“You know, in the Korean culture, when you get the drinks from the older people, you have to grab the glass like this with two hands,” he demonstrated, adding a bow. “And also, don't look at them when you drink. You have to turn your face a bit and then drink. If you stare at them and drink, [it] is kind of weird. We don't do that.”

Devin was overwhelmed with the idea of meeting Nick’s parents before the traditions, and even more so once she realized she could offend them unintentionally. Nick isn’t convinced his parents will like Devin, either. “My parents don't know much about Devin, but when they think of American women and like, [they think they] have a bunch of one-night stands, do drugs at the party, blah, blah, blah,” he said. “But she doesn’t do that. So fingers crossed.”

Another thing that worries Nick is Devin’s personality. “My father, he's not super friendly. And my mother, she's a serious Korean woman,” he told the cameras. “With Devin, she can be overwhelmed. She can be fragile. When there's something overwhelming her, she'll cry. My parents won't like it. And without my parent’s blessing, I can’t go to [the] US.”

Devin learned one more thing: Nick’s mother has already suggested he find a Korean woman to marry instead of an American woman. That wasn’t encouraging to Devin as she prepared to meet the parents. She then told cameras: “This is gonna be a train wreck.”
