Who’s active, who’s not for Dolphins’ road game vs. Patriots

Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead and outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips are inactive for Sunday night’s road game against the New England Patriots.

Both were listed as questionable to play. Armstead, who returned to practice this week for the first time in a month, will miss his second consecutive game because of ailments to his back, ankle and knee. Phillips was added to the injury report on Friday after sustaining a back injury. It’s the first game Phillips will miss due to injury in his career.

Kendall Lamm is expected to start at left tackle for Armstead again. The Dolphins elevated a pair of edge defenders — Cameron Goode and Chase Winovich — from the practice squad. Emmanuel Ogbah and Andrew Van Ginkel could also play more at outside linebacker with Phillips sidelined.

Rookie running back De’Von Achane, who was a healthy scratch last week, is active and will make his NFL debut on Sunday night.

The Dolphins also made the following inactive: quarterback Skylar Thompson (emergency QB), cornerback Kelvin Joseph (personal), wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr., defensive back Elijah Campbell (knee) and rookie tight end Julian Hill (ankle).
