Alix Earle addresses rumors about her relationship with Braxton Berrios on 'Call Her Daddy'

Alix Earle is setting the record straight on her relationship with Braxton Berrios.

Earle, 22, appeared on the season 4 premiere of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast and opened up about the real story behind her relationship with 27-year-old NFL star.

Berrios was previously linked to Sophia Culpo, who he dated for two years before their break up in March. After Berrios and Earle were spotted hanging out, the TikTok star was accused of being the reason behind their breakup.

On Wednesday’s episode of Call Her Daddy, Cooper, 29, asked Earle about the rumors that circulated surrounding their relationship.

“This past summer, you were getting scrutinized on the internet. People were calling you a mistress, some people were calling you a homewrecker, in regards to the NFL player you were hooking up with,” Cooper said. “Can you confirm: Were you hooking up with him when he was in a relationship?”

Earle replied, “It is so triggering to even hear you say that,” before clarifying, “No. They were not together.”

She shared that she was “reading these comments” about her and the Miami Dolphins wide receiver and “bawling my eyes out to my friends.”

Earlier in the episode, Earle had spoken to Cooper about her family’s difficult past with infidelity. She shared how her father’s affair with his now-wife Ashley Dupré tore their family apart.

“I spent my childhood thinking this is basically the worst thing you could do to another human. So why the f--- would I do that?” she said.

Cooper then asked the University of Miami grad to elaborate on why the rumors began in the first place.

“I guess the ex-girlfriend had started posting things alluding to unfaithfulness in the relationship online and I was seen hanging out with this guy so everyone just kinda pointed fingers at me,” she said.

Earle said she was immediately skeptical and confronted Berrios about it. “You know I was asking for the receipts. Like, right away I was probably more psycho than she was. I was like there’s just no f------ way this happened. Like, I was checking everything.”

Since then, she and Berrios “have been over this probably 110 times,” she said, “because I was like, if you did that to a person, obviously, of course, you’ll probably do that to me too, and if I did that to someone else, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.”

As for Culpo’s involvement, she claimed her ex-boyfriend had been unfaithful to her in a since-deleted TikTok Story posted in June.

Berrios released his own statement on the separation explaining their relationship was  "good" and "healthy," but "towards the end" things "weren't working out.”

He affirmed that their split in January "had nothing to do with anything else,” and then clarified, "It had nothing to with anybody else for that matter."

Culpo then shared what she called “the real timeline” of their breakup.

"We broke up after the Drake concert super bowl weekend where he was seen making out with another girl,” Culpo wrote. “Not bitter, in fact I know the situation has been one of my biggest blessings.”

She included screenshots of several alleged texts with Berrios in the post as well.

Culpo later shared a since-deleted TikTok video that seemed to shade her ex and also be directed at Earle. "Give it a few but call me when the love bombing ends. I gotchu #girltok #narcredflag," she commented the video, which was posted days after Earle and Berrios spent time in the Hamptons together.

After deleting the post, she wrote on her Instagram Story, "I'm sorry the internet has their panties in a wad. It wasn't that deep.”

Despite clarifying her side of the story in the podcast episode, Earle was clear with Cooper as she revealed she is currently single and not official with Berrios.

“It’s been weird starting to talk to somebody while kind of having a following, I guess, just because people would see us out together so naturally they’re like, ‘Oh they’re dating,’” she said.
