Anna Camp Files for Divorce from Skylar Astin Just Hours After Announcing Their Split

Anna Camp has filed for divorce from Skylar Astin.

Just hours after Camp, 36, and Astin, 31, announced that they were separating after two years of marriage, the actress made the divorce filing citing irreconcilable differences on Friday afternoon, in court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The Blast first reported the news.

Camp listed the date of separation as “TBD” and asked the court to award no spousal support to either her or Astin. The actress has also requested that each of them pay their own legal fees.

Reps for both Camp and Astin did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The Pitch Perfect costars began dating in June 2013 following Camp’s divorce from Michael Mosley. They tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony on California’s central coast in October 2016.

In a joint statement to PEOPLE on Friday, the former couple said: “We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition.”

Amid the split, Camp appears to be embracing a positive outlook. On Friday, she shared a screenshot of Alicia Keys’ song “Brand New Me” from her Girl on Fire album.

A source recently told PEOPLE that Astin has “stopped wearing his ring and has started talking about the split with friends.”

Both have since unfollowed each other on social media. Astin last posted a photo with Camp in January, showing them cuddled up as they celebrated the New Year. Camp posted a series of photos dancing with Astin just a few weeks later.

They were last spotted together attending the Mickey’s 90th Spectacular in October.

“This has been the fastest year of my life,” Camp told PEOPLE ahead of the couple’s one-year wedding anniversary. “We fall in love with each other more and more every day we’ve been together. And I know it sounds, like, gross, everyone’s probably gonna throw up about that, but it’s actually really true.”

“Knowing that I have my best friend and that we are totally committed to one another and just to have that comfort and that safety and that bond where you know you’ve found your person,” she added. “The longer you stay with somebody, the closer you get, and it’s really the best thing in the world to have another person that loves you just as much as you love them.”
