Another nor’easter to meander into Atlantic Canada, more snow and gusty winds

As Newfoundland faced significant snow this weekend, is Atlantic Canada ready to let its guard down? Hard no, it's March after all, and one of the strongest lows of the season wants to spin up across New England by early next week.

Don’t worry, though, you’ll get a couple days of fair weather to rest and recover before heading back outside to shovel your driveways.

By Tuesday afternoon, a powerful nor'easter will be swirling off the coast of Cape Cod and will slowly drift east on Wednesday.

The system will gradually weaken as it meanders by the Atlantic provinces. However, it will still bring dreary and potentially hazardous weather to the region to finish off the week.

The gusty northeast winds will be problematic, particularly paired with heavy snowfall across sections of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick. Conditions will deteriorate by Tuesday evening. Past setups like this have produced snowfall amounts of over 30 cm.
