VANCOUVER — Environment Canada is warning of heavy rain for parts of B.C.'s south coast and a blanket of snow for areas in the B.C. Interior.
Strong winds are set to batter the UK again after Storm Darragh swept through the country, with gales having exceeded 90mph. A fresh yellow Met Office wind warning came into force across much of England and Wales at 6am on Sunday, as winds of up to 80mph continued to hit Northern Ireland. Gusts of 35-45mph are likely around England and Wales, reaching 70mph around the coast during the morning.

A severe red wind weather warning has been issued for parts of the UK, with gusts of 90mph expected. The Met Office has said "damaging winds" associated with Storm Darragh are expected to cause "significant disruption" as the weekend begins. The warning covers coastal areas of Wales and the South West of England, including Cardiff, Bristol and Devon, and is in place from 3am-11am on Saturday.
