It feels like an eternity since we got a themed Strictly Come Dancing week, so what a relief that Musicals Week landed in our laps tonight (December 1).

And while it was all fun and joy, it was the quarter finals with only six couples left in the competition, so the pressure was truly on.

Along with some incredible dances, ranging from West Side Story to Joseph, we also got our second perfect score of the series thanks to Faye Tozer.

Here are all the performances, judges' scores and comments:

Lauren Steadman and AJ Pritchard danced an American Smooth to 'I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy' from South Pacific

Shirley: "From the bottom of the leaderboard to turning the heat up on the first number was absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much." (Score: 9)

Bruno: "It was a return to form. She danced like a dream in a tropical paradise. You were at ease, expressive, warm and touching everyone. Welcome back to the big league!" (Score: 9)

Craig: "That dance, ballroom, really is your strength. You absolutely flied. You've improved so much, you're telling a story. Gorgeous." (Score: 8)

Darcey: "A stunning transformation. The ease of your rotation. Wonderful. Superb." (Score: 9)

Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice danced the Charleston to 'The Lonely Goatherd' from The Sound of Music

Bruno: "Everybody was on their feet! That was the ultimate crowd-pleasing, show-stopping delight. Take it to Broadway, it will run forever! A theatrical masterpiece!" (Score: 10)

Craig: "I thought the goats were good darling, you weren't bad either. Well done." (Score: 10)

Darcey: "I thought it was extraordinary. There was a move to every beat of the music. Every moment you reflected the characters of the puppets. Stunning to perfection." (Score: 10)

Shirley: "You are a pure diamond. There wasn't a flaw in anything you did there." (Score: 10)

Charles Venn and Karen Clifton danced the Rumba to 'Maria' from West Side Story

Craig: "I think you coped really, really well. You have to be aware of your free arm and the expression you put into that. It's the most masculine Rumba I've seen, and probably the best male celeb Rumba we've ever had." (Score: 8)

Darcey: "To see you lead that Rumba, it's so rare for the guy to have control, and you had control. The two of you together, oh my goodness! I felt the balance, it had meaning all the way through." (Score: 9)

Shirley: "You put the advanced [Latin] steps in. Your hip action was great, you had sensitivity. You had a masculine role, and you brought that together. Congratulations." (Score: 9)

Bruno: "You created an incredible atmosphere. I liked the fact you made it very tender, very touching. Many men have crumbled in Rumba, you've triumphed." (Score: 9)

Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev danced the Quickstep 'Don't Rain on My Parade' from Funny Girl

Darcey: "I did not tire. That was so demanding, so fast and difficult. The stamina you needed to deliver all the content. It was light and flawless. Loved it." (Score: 10)

Shirley: "You are a great performer, but I just had an issue that it was too overloaded in choreography. That doesn't take away from what you do." (Score: 9)

Bruno: "This show was a smash hit on stage, smash hit in the movies, and a smash hit tonight on Strictly. You mastered it, that sequence at the end was breathtaking." (Score: 10)

Craig: "It certainly was fast and furious, and I loved that. Fantastic." (Score: 9)

Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton danced the American Smooth to 'I Dreamed a Dream' from Les Misérables

Shirley: "There are some times in our life when we do something so magical that we capture it in our heart and stay there forever, and that was that. It was seamless. I loved everything from beginning to end." (Score: 10)

Bruno: "Look what you've done to me, I'm a mess. That was so special, I really forgot who I was. That really was so special." (Score: 10)

Craig: "It wasn't technically perfect, but that didn't matter because you took this away. It was real, honest and truthful." (Score: 9)

Darcey: "It's such an iconic musical, and your dancing came up to par with that. How to carry that off is not easy. It was a really impressive performance." (Score: 9)

Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell danced the Salsa to a Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat megamix

Bruno: "Your dreams really have come true. You really had that magic charm of Joseph. Andrew Lloyd Wonderful!" (Score: 10)

Craig: "The Salsa part lacked fluidity. But you presented the number brilliantly, it was theatrical." (Score: 8)

Darcey: "It was the conviction in your face, to die for! What really was outstanding was the lifts, how you were able to understand that." (Score: 9)

Shirley: "A* for presentation. The end lift, you made that whole thing your own." (Score: 9)

Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow (December 2) at 7.20pm on BBC One.
