Ariana Grande Makes an Epic Return to the Grammys Stage
Ariana Grande performed at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
The singer is also nominated for five trophies at this year's ceremony.
Grande skipped last year's show, for which she was previously scheduled to perform, after saying she was "insulted" by the Grammy producers.
Ariana Grande made a triumphant return to the Grammy Awards tonight with a stellar performance of her song "Imagine," The Sound of Music's "Favorite Things," her hit "7 Things," and "Thank U, Next" at tonight's ceremony.
The 26-year-old singer started off belting at the mic backed by a band, but after quickly changing from her ball gown to pink lingerie, Grande transitioned to a pop performance with choreography amidst a bedroom set.

Grande, who arrived to the award show in a gray, Cinderella-esque Giambattista Valli gown, skipped the Grammys last year following a reported dispute with the producers. Days ahead of the 2019 ceremony, the singer announced she would not attend the event, despite being nominated for two awards. Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich had alleged that it was "too late for [Grande] to pull something together" for the show, but the singer clarified on Twitter, "i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend."
This year, she was nominated for five awards: Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance (for "7 Rings"), Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album (for Thank U, Next), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (for "Boyfriend").
