Ariana Madix Embraces the ‘Wet Dress’ Look in Di Petsa for ‘Love Island USA’ Host Debut
Ariana Madix made her debut as the new host of “Love Island USA” on Tuesday. The reality TV series’ sixth season premiered with Madix replacing “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland as host. Madix made a fashionable entrance, wholly embracing the wet dress look.
For the Season Six premiere episode, Madix fashioned a sensual gold dress with cutouts. The former “Vanderpump Rules” star wore a design by Di Petsa courtesy of Fwrd. The dress created a wet effect on Madix, with the fabric appearing to cling to the “Love Island USA” host’s frame.

The dress also featured intricate cutout detailing on the bodice of the dress, with crystal embellishments adorning the cutouts, as well.
As for the rest of Madix’s look, the “Love Island USA” host fashioned pieces of jewelry courtesy of Simon G. Jewelry and Gemma Azzurro. Madix wore a pair of strappy Alexandre Birman gold heels.
Madix’s long blond tresses were styled by Carl Bembridge and featured soft beach waves. Her makeup, which featured a sultry smokey eye and nude lip, was done by Krystal Dawn.
The new “Love Island USA” host’s completed look was curated by stylist Emily Men.
Since departing “Vanderpump Rules,” Madix expanded her business collaborations. The reality TV star partnered with DSW last April on an exclusive, 60-day collection curated by Madix herself.
The collection featured 30 styles in a variety of looks, all of which were ideal for the spring season. Converse, Adidas, Steve Madden and Dolce Vita were among the brands Madix selected for her exclusive collaboration with DSW. The limited-edition collaboration ended on June 1.
“Love Island USA” is the U.S. version of the British reality TV series of the same name, which follows a group of singles who come to stay at a villa in Fiji and have to couple up together and make their relationship work in order to stay on the show. The series is available to stream on Peacock.
