Arrest after man suffers stab wounds to leg

A teenager has been arrested after a man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his leg.

Police were called to reports of an assault and found the man - in his 20s - in Holbrook Street, Heanor, Derbyshire, at 13:10 BST on Friday.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and was in custody.

Derbyshire Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
