Ashley Park can always count on her boyfriend and Emily in Paris costar Paul Forman.

The 32-year-old actress praised Forman for helping her after spraining her ankle before Paris Fashion Week last year and more recently, when she was hospitalized for “tonsillitis [that] spiraled into critical septic shock.”

“A year ago from today 🥹 @peforman annual January heroism 💪🏼,” she shared on Instagram alongside throwbacks of the pair getting close and Forman, 29, pushing her in a wheelchair during the fashion event.

Earlier this month, Park detailed her health emergency on Instagram.

“As I sit here processing and recovering from the first few weeks of 2024, the only word I can think of is grateful,” she captioned the post. “While on holiday in December into New Years, what started as tonsillitis spiraled into critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of my organs. I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told.”

Park said she’s most grateful for Forman being “unconditionally” by her side throughout the health scare.

“You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion all while we were alone on the other side of the world far from those we know,” she said alongside photos of Forman with her in the hospital. “I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.”

Forman left a comment on her post, simply writing, “My love ❤️.”

The couple’s Emily in Paris costar Lily Collins also showed her support in the comment section, writing, “I can hardly look at these without crying. I love you sister and I’m forever grateful you’re on the other side of this and for @peforman for your incredibly huge heart and for being there every step of the way. I cannot wait to hug you both ❤️”

After going public with her medical scare, Forman shared a photo of the two posing together and one of him holding her hand in a hospital bed.

“By your side, no matter what ❤️ @ashleyparklady,” he wrote in the caption.

The Emily in Paris costars were first rumored to be dating in October 2023 when they were spotted holding hands at The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Dinner. Though they often post photos of each other on their social media, neither had publicly commented on their relationship until Park’s PDA-filled Instagram post.

Forman has also been supportive of Park in other ways, with the Joy Ride actress telling PEOPLE in her July 2023 digital cover story that her boyfriend — whose identity she did not reveal at the time — was “so supportive” of her success.

I've just never been with someone so supportive,” she said. "And not supportive like, ‘Oh, that's so cool for you,’ but who genuinely feels happiness when I do.”

She added that figuring out how to prioritize herself has helped her be more confident in the strength of her relationship.

“I was always that person who wanted to give all of myself to other people, and that's what made me feel fulfilled,” she said. “I don't want to be that person who is now this and is not able to be there for other people. But then I realize the people that I care about, whether it’s my boyfriend or my friends, will never penalize me for not giving all of myself to them. They want to protect me as much as I want to protect them.”
