Austin Leshay Joins Buchwald As Talent Agent

EXCLUSIVE: Austin Leshay has joined the talent department at Buchwald, Deadline has learned. Most recently at Hyperion, he is expected to bring several notable clients with him and work out of Buchwald’s Los Angeles offices.

He will help enhance our team’s ability to nurture outstanding high-level talent, and drive our continued success.”

Over the course of his last six years at Hyperion, Leshay worked primarily in the traditional film and television space for such agency clients as Shailene Woodley, Xochitl Gomez, Ashton Sanders, Natasha Behnam, Spence Moore II, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Reign Edwards, Jessica McNamee, and Adam Faison. He also brings to Buchwald experience and passion for the crossover space, having represented such notable clients as athlete Shaun White and musician Alaya High (That Girl Lay Lay).

Prior to Hyperion, Leshay was at CAA, working for talent agents Franklin Latt and David Bugliari before being promoted to Motion Picture Talent Coordinator. Working prior to that at Mgmt Entertainment, he began his career at APA after graduating from the University of Arizona.
