Quartney Mixon continued to cause drama on Bachelor in Paradise Canada (Mondays 8 p.m. ET/PT on Citytv, catch up on Citytv.com and on Citytv+), particularly after Lisa Mancini from St. Catharines, Ont., was blunt with him, saying that he's "not safe" for the looming rose ceremony.

"These girls aren't here for the right reasons," Quartney said in Monday night's episode. "These girls aren't here for something outside of this and I can tell that, like, very quickly."

Nithisha Ketheeswaran was dubbed the "Queen of Messy," not knowing who she was going give her rose to, particularly after Quartney said that he thinks he has the closest connection with her, and Vancouver's Meagan Morris. Nithisha, from Stouffville, Ont., then starts thinking about whether Quartney, Edward Naranjo, Godfrey Mangwiza or Garrett Aida are most worthy for her rose.

"A lot of us women are frustrated with Nithisha because I feel like she's juggling men like they don't have feelings," Samantha "Sam" Picco from St. John's said. "It's like she's playing roulette. She just won't let the ball land."

"Nithisha's not here to get married, she's here to be on a TV show."

Meanwhile, Garrett from The Bachelorette Season 18 said he was feeling "fantastic" having both Nithisha and Meagan as options to move forward with in paradise. But he ends up having a romantic, intimate date with Meagan that seemingly seals the deal.

Rose ceremony leads to self-elimination, tough decisions

Ultimately, Quartney did decide to make the move to eliminate himself, leaving paradise at the rose ceremony.

"There's been a lot of ups and downs and a lot of mixed emotions," Quartney said. "I came here looking for one thing and that was to come out of here finding my person."

"I don't think that I want to go through another ceremony and potentially not [get] that rose."

Here is how the rose ceremony turned out:

  • Céline Paquette and Joey Kirchner

  • Chelsea Vaughn and Austin Tinsley

  • Meagan Morris and Garrett Aida

  • Sam Picco and Cole Medders

  • Maria Garcia-Sanchez and Matia Marcantuoni

  • Lisa Mancini and Connor Brennan

  • Nithisha Ketheeswaran and Edward Naranjo

Godfrey and Jake Ondrus were the eliminated singles from paradise, aside from Quartney's departure. When Nithisha gave her rose to Edward, she specifically said that it was a "friendship rose."

'Party Paige' and Ana make a splash

Surprises are still coming on Bachelor in Paradise Canada, with #BachelorNation’s Paige Allen, or "Party Paige," arriving in Monday's episode.

As Connor starts questioning how strong his connection is with Lisa, he ends up on a date with Paige. They were joined by Kevin, Bachelor alum Astrid Loch, their baby boy August and their two goldendoodles, when it was revealed that Paige and Connor would be on babysitting duty for their date.

Next week on 'Bachelor in Paradise Canada'

While Connor was on his date, Lisa and Cole spent some more time together, admitting that they had been holding back their feelings for each other.

In the next episode of Bachelor in Paradise Canada, Sam's concerns about Lisa and Cole's connection grow, which will lead to "a shocking night of unforeseen hookups, breakups, and confrontations that shake Paradise to its core."

Amidst all this confusion, we'll still see new faces come to paradise to continue to mix things up.
