The Bee wants to know: How will return-to-office policies affect California state workers?
Several California state agencies and departments have announced they will require employees to come into their offices at least two days per week. And the vast majority of civil servants are — to put it mildly — upset by this decision.
In recent weeks, employees of all levels have expressed their displeasure online, especially on the r/CAStateWorkers Reddit forum. Both rank-and-file union members as well as supervisors who lack union representation have sent emails to The Sacramento Bee voicing their concerns.
We want to hear from more state employees about how the return-to-office mandates will affect day-to-day routines, finances, family dynamics and other aspects of life.
