‘Beef’s Joseph Lee Signs With Gersh
EXCLUSIVE: Emmy-nominated Beef actor and artist Joseph Lee has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.
Lee most recently starred opposite Steven Yuen and Ali Wong in A24/Netflix’s Emmy-winning series Beef as George Nakai, a performance which earned him an Emmy nom for outstanding supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or movie.

His other recent credits include a full season arc on Star Trek: Picard, Sony’s Searching and the Korean drama series Miracle That We Met.
In addition to his work as an actor, Lee is a self-taught artist who started painting a little over eight years ago. In that time, his works have made a lasting impression on the art scene with signature elements that have brought him a cult following. His portrayals are characterized by a large-scale canvas and colorful, abstract strokes that often conceal his subjects’ faces. The superposition of these strokes are an exploration of the feelings that inhabit each figure Lee represents.
Lee continues to be represented by Anonymous Content and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.
