Ben Affleck Was Spotted Without His Wedding Ring While Jennifer Lopez Vacations Abroad

A Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez divorce seems imminent.

Affleck was photographed without his wedding ring while out to lunch in Los Angeles with his daughter, 18-year-old Violet, on June 23, People reports. This is the second time the actor-director was spotted without his ring since divorce rumors began swirling a few months ago.

In the photos, published by the Daily Mail, Affleck appears glum (or at the very least, irritated at the sight of the paparazzi) while wearing a flannel shirt and jeans with sneakers.

Meanwhile, Lopez, Affleck’s wife of almost two years, is on a separate continent. She appeared to be in good spirits in paparazzi pics of her vacation, which showed her relaxing on a yacht with friends. On June 24, she made her way to Paris to attend the Dior couture show. Could those leather opera gloves be hiding the fact that she, too, has ditched her ring?

The couple was last photographed together on June 10 at Affleck’s son Samuel’s basketball game. Affleck shares his three children—Violet, Samuel, and Fin—with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez has two children of her own, twins Max and Emme, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. The day after the game, on June 11, a source “close to Lopez” told People, “They’re still friendly and see each other every few days.” Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are currently living apart, and are in the midst of selling their marital home.

Affleck referred to Lopez as his wife as recently as last week, when he appeared on Kevin Hart’s Hart to Heart podcast. The 51-year-old opened up about struggling with Lopez’s overwhelming level of fame, which has apparently been a source of tension within their marriage.

“We went somewhere with [Jennifer]—I can’t remember because she’s so famous, and she creates this…people love her. And she really represents something important to people,” Affleck explained.

“[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘AHHHH! J-LO!’” he continued. “It’s amazing, you know what I mean?”
