Best Buy Black Friday 2020: Sale features TV deals, laptop and tech savings with some specials available early
Best Buy has revealed its Black Friday sale ad earlier than ever with "thousands of deals on the season’s hottest tech."
The Minneapolis-based electronics retailer released its highly anticipated holiday shopping circular Thursday and said hundreds of the deals are available now with some of the biggest savings offered through Nov. 1. Last year, the ad posted Nov. 7.
"As we’ve said, Black Friday isn’t just one day this year – it’s months long" Best Buy said in a news release. "Shoppers will have even more opportunities to score deals straight from the Black Friday ad before the end of November. In fact, starting today, customers can score select deals from the ad every single day."

Dozens of the deals were available early from Oct. 13-14 as part of a two-day event Best Buy had that competed with Amazon Prime Day.
Best Buy announced in July that it would keep stores closed on Thanksgiving, a change from past years amid the coronavirus pandemic. Other retailers as well as Simon Property Group malls will also not open their doors on the holiday.
Best Buy isn't the first to provide an early look at the savings.
Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's and Sam's Club have shared previews of their deals, and how they will handle sales at a time when they are trying to spread out demand and reduce crowds. Target also shared more of its Black Friday plans Thursday.

The following deals will be available as part of the Black Friday sale but are available starting Thursday through Nov. 1 while supplies last:

Best Buy announced the following sales dates and said :
Oct. 29-Nov. 1: Select deals available early
Nov. 5-8: "The Wish List Sale"
Nov. 11: "The Treat Yourself Sale"
Nov. 12-15: "Our Coolest Deals Sale"
Nov. 16-17: My Best Buy Member Early Access Sale with thousands of deals from the Black Friday ad available early for members of the loyalty program.
Nov. 22: Black Friday sale starts with "nearly all deals" from the ad available.
Best Buy holiday store hours
Best Buy says stores have "extended" regular hours and are "now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time."
Here are the holiday hours for Black Friday and the weekend at most stores nationwide, which can vary by location.
Thanksgiving, Nov. 26: Closed
Black Friday, Nov. 27: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time
Saturday, Nov. 28: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. local time
Sunday, Nov. 29: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time
