Lively starred in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, an adaptation of Ann Brashares' YA book of the same name, in 2005 alongside Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn. The group also appeared in the 2008 sequel. While there are five books in the series, the film franchise stopped at the second movie, causing some fans to wonder if another sequel will ever come to fruition.

The cast members, who remain friends, have reunited numerous times and have even hinted at a third movie, but no official plans have been announced.

In another Instagram Stories post from the screening, Lively wrote, "Shoutout to the real star of the movie, my @maisonvalentino jeans." The caption accompanied a photo of herself and Ferrer with Cyndi Lauper's 1983 tune "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" playing over it.

Lively accessorized her look with denim pointed-toe pumps and hoop earrings. Her trademark long, blonde hair was parted to the side and styled into voluminous waves. Ferrer donned a similar look, pairing her cuffed jeans with a delicate white cropped shirt. She also added embellished sandals and a black purse.
