Tulisa Britain’s Got Talent performance bizarre fashion

Tulisa celebrated reaching Number One tonight by taking to the Britain's Got Talent stage during the live semi-final tonight to perform her new single.

But instead of listening to her hot new single 'Young' - which topped the charts this week - viewers couldn't stop commenting on what Tulisa was wearing.

The X Factor judge hit the Britain's Got Talent stage for her performance in a rather bizarre mid-length bodycon dress with floaty segments at the hem.

And as if that wasn't weird enough (we're used to seeing Tulisa in teensy tiny outfits), the former N-Dubz singer teamed the calf length skirt with a pair of FLAT shoes.

*shocked fashion face*

We're used to see Tulisa tottering around in skyscraper heels so we were pretty surprised to see her in a pair of black pumps with ankle straps.

It reminded us of the time Victoria Beckham made fashionistas up and down the country gasp when she whipped out a pair of out-of-character flats.

And tonight Tulisa prompted the same reaction as she danced on the BGT stage in a pair of very sensible shoes.

It was all looking rather geeky librarian until the brunette, who was last week voted sexiest woman in the world by FHM, proved exactly why she won the accolade by peeling off half her dress - a la Kelly Rowland on X Factor.

But the crop top and shorts she revealed underneath were slightly odd too, and reminded us of a pair of shorts our mum would put us in as a child.

One troubled Britain's Got Talent viewer posted on Twitter: "that dress is awful!!! X"

While another tweeted us: "@YahooOmgUK and the shoes!! Not loving eeek #BalletPumps??"

What we did love about her look though, were Tulisa's pink dip-dyed locks - very on trend and very pretty. Big thumbs up.

Tulisa performed on the first semi-final night as Pudsey the dancing dog and Only Boys Aloud made it through to the final.

Mancunian boyband The Mend lost out, finishing third - much to our dismay.

And Lauren Thalis, who omg! had a personal soft spot for, also failed to make it through, despite wowing the live audience with a rendition of Labrinth's Earthquake.
