See a 25-year old Elizabeth May on a T.V. game show
It's easy to forget that our politicians did have — and do have — lives outside of politics; that they're not the one-dimensional figures we see on T.V.
That's why this video — discovered online by CTV News' Richard Madan — is really cool.
It's of a 25-year-old Elizabeth May on a 1970's game show called Mindreaders which, according to Game Show wiki, involved contestants trying to predict how others answered questions.
Skip to 13:45, on the video to see May introduce herself.
Skip to 16:05 to hear May answer the question: "When you're in love with a man, what turns you on more: the sound of his voice of the touch of his hand?"
May told CTV that she thinks she won $600.

On Twitter, May said that this wasn't her television debut.
@DonMartinCTV Actually, I was on TV newscasts about insecticide spraying a lot in the 70's. Definitely my first (and only!) game show. :)
