Trudeau paper doll let’s you dress PM up

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may be making headlines for cabinet appointments and bringing back the long-form census, but media reports about his dreaminess continue.

On Thursday, The Cut, the lifestyles section of New York Magazine, posted an online version of a paper doll of our “foxy” PM. Trudeau is seen smiling and completely naked, save for a red maple leaf covering his privates.

“Say bonjour to this Justin Trudeau paper doll,” the headline reads.

People can dress him up in a “lean and mean” suit, boxing shorts, Superman underwear “to remind him to be super,” or, “because it sounds like the name of his erotic fan-fic,” a Canada Goose bomber jacket.

“The Justin Trudeau Paper Doll is really not helping me stick to my resolution to stop objectifying him,” Quebecer Faye Delacour tweeted Thursday.

“How many people will try to drag that red maple leaf,” human rights activist Kevin Bourassa joked on Twitter. “I’m expecting Justin Trudeau dolls in stores for Christmas.”

Ottawa user Dawn Severenuk said the paper doll “seems wrong on so many levels (and not just (because) he’s PM.”

She added, “If it’s not cool to do it to a woman, don’t do it to a guy, either.” Severenuk ended the tweet with the hashtag, #becauseits2015, which was the answer Trudeau gave Wednesday when asked why having gender parity in his cabinet was important.

Even actual news headlines in the magazine can’t seem to ignore Trudeau’s looks: “Justin Trudeau, who is also hot, made his cabinet fifty percent women” the headline on a story published Wednesday declared.

Meanwhile, for those already looking for Christmas gifts for Trudeau fans, the prime minister’s looks have also inspired some interesting clothing items.

In one sweater on Shelfies, Trudeau is wearing a suit and riding a horse over grassy knolls while multiple sun flares create a dream-like appearance.

“Mr. Trudeau, our country welcomes you as … sorry, where was I? Sorry, it seems I got lost in the glow of your sparkling blue eyes and perfectly placed hair,” the description reads. The image can also be printed on a T-shirt or tank top.

There is a tamer cartoon of Trudeau surrounded by a heart and his initials by Hamilton political cartoonist Graeme MacKay on RedBubble.

For those wanting something a little cruder, there are PMILF (Prime Minister I’d like to f—) shirts as well.

“Show pride in your country - and the guy who’s bringing sexy back to the PMO,” the tank top description on Teespring reads.
