'Orange Is the New Black' Season 2 Trailer Is Next-Level Crazy
We've got an exclusive sneak peek at "Orange Is the New Black's" new Season 2 trailer, and with less than two months left until the new season premieres (June 6 on Netflix), we're celebrating just as much as the inmates appear to be:
But as you can see, it's not all fun and games. After last season's shocking finale, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) is seen being released from solitary with a whole new zen-psycho, "lone wolf" attitude:
Yikes. We also get more insight into newcomer Vee (Lorraine Toussaint), who told Yahoo TV about her past with Red (Kate Mulgrew)... and now it looks like she has an interesting future ahead with Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba):
She's smitten! And we've all seen what happens when Suzanne is smitten...
There's also another new inmate that we haven't heard much about — probably because she seems completely shell-shocked:
But it'll be nice to have an outsider's perspective for viewers to relate to once again, especially now that Piper has gone into full prisoner mode. Flaca (Jackie Cruz) says it best: "This is, like, next-level crazy."
A few gripes: Not nearly enough of Piper and Alex (Laura Prepon), Nicky's (Natasha Lyonne) got just one shocking second in there, and where is Pennsatucky (Taryn Manning)? Not even a tease about her fate after Piper's brutal beating? We know she's a series regular this season... don't hold back, Netflix.
