Actress Tilda Swinton sleeps in a glass box for art
Actress Tilda Swinton is really having a snooze during her latest artistic performance at the Museum of Modern Art.
Perhaps the actress from Moonrise Kingdom and The Chronicles of Narnia decided her career wasn't leaving her enough time to sleep, because she's begun a sporadic performance during which she spends the day sleeping in a glass box, according to the Associated Press.

The piece, entitled The Maybe, isn't advertised, but the Associated Press reported it would appear about six more times during the year. She first performed the piece 18 years ago at the Serpentine Gallery in London before deciding to display her napping self for the world once again over the weekend.
For years just me and Tilda Swinton knew sleeping was an art. Then the news had to open its big gob. #themaybe #MOMA news.com.au/entertainment/…

Even staring at pictures of Tilda in a box can have the effect of making the viewer feel creepy. Still, others are piping up to take her place should she decide to take a day off from public sleeping.

However, it's likely that if Tilda needs a replacement, her look-a-like David Bowie will get the gig.
