Cat Thinks Baby Crib Was Built For Him

This couple expecting their first child may have forgotten to inform the whole family about their happy news.

When Reddit user Max Brown and his wife built a crib for their baby girl, who is due soon, their cat made himself right at home. Brown caught the little guy in the crib one morning and snapped a picture that has since gone viral.

In the picture, their adorable Maine Coon mix cat is seen lying stretched out in the baby’s new crib, thinking it belongs to him. Brown even titled the post: “pretty sure our cat thinks the crib we put together was for him.”

The three-year-old cat named Finn is quite the stubborn little guy. Since the photo was uploaded online, Finn’s been regularly using the crib, usually in the mornings, as his own bed.

“I find him in there every few days and pull him out right away,” Brown wrote on Reddit. “My wife came and got me yesterday and when I saw him I figured I’d get a picture before taking him out.”

The Internet is certainly glad that Brown had a camera handy as well. The photo has already generated more than a million views on Imgur since it was shared just a few days ago.

Now the expecting couple is thinking ahead. Brown revealed on Reddit that his father-in-law plans on building a kitty bed just for Finn.

Let’s hope Finn will enjoy his own bed just as much as the baby’s.
