Jason Smith and his daughter went to a party this year dressed as the Power Loader from the movie 'Aliens'.

"I love Halloween, and I wanted to create a costume that my; daughter and I could share," Smith wrote on YouTube. "She was amazingly content the whole night, and enjoyed looking at everybody else's costumes."

He built the robot costume in two nights plus a day and it was assembled with cardboard and hot glue. It only weighs about five kilograms plus the baby, who was entirely safe the whole time.

"My highest priority was keeping my little girl safe, so the costume was designed for mobility and quick exit in case of emergency," Smith writes. His daughter sat in a Baby Bjorn with a roll cage. The boots made out of cardboard could be kicked off and the arms could pop off easily in case something happened.

In the two days since Smith uploaded the video, it has gone viral with more than 130,000 views and more than 100 comments, which mostly credit Smith with being the world's coolest dad. We couldn't agree more and chances are he'll win the best costume title as well.
