Have you ever been fed up waiting for city workers to complete a job?

Montreal comedian Antonio Riccio decided to take matters into his own hands and fill a pothole that’s been bothering him for three years using a 99-cent bag of topsoil.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel on Saturday, Riccio, frustrated with the quality of the roads and the lack of action by the city, fills up the pothole in mere seconds.

“What does it take? We don’t need two trucks and seven employees,” he says about getting the job done.

Riccio points out an ongoing problem with the state of the city’s infrastructure, which has been a perennial issue for various levels of government.

He ends the video urging Denis Coderre, the mayor of Montreal, to “smarten up.”
