Must-see videos of the week – August 24

From Prince Harry showing his royal jewels in Las Vegas to a man who feels the instant wrath of karma after trying to puncture his employer's tire, we've seen some great videos this week. Here are some of our favourites.

1. Harry's Vegas adventure

Prince Harry has been very busy this week and it all seems to involve pools and the strip. First he challenged Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte to a swim race (he lost) and then decided to take his clothes off while playing billiards. Gossip website TMZ released photos of the prince canoodling naked with a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room. He was in his private room and reports mention someone in the room must have taken the photo and released it to the media. The Palace came out telling the British press to stay away from the photos and while most of them obliged, the Sun decided to run the photo on the front of their Thursday edition.

2. Trapped Colorado hiker's video diary goes viral

Lexi Deforest slipped down a 2.5-metre trench while hiking in the Wyoming mountains detaching her foot from her ankle. the friend she was climbing with went for help and Deforest shot a video that shows her remarkably calm, not crying, singing and joking to the camera. The video quickly went viral. Her friend returned with help including paramedics. Since the incident she's had two surgeries and while she can't walk yet, she can wiggle her toes.

3. A gruelling swim

Over the weekend Annaleise Carr became the youngest swimmer at 14 to ever swim across Lake Ontario. She swam the 52 kilometres from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Marilyn Bell Park in Toronto in 27 hours and raised more than $100,000 for Camp Trillium. 4. Hover bike

It may look like a scene from Star Wars, but it's actually a prototype of a hover bike developed by engineers from Aerofex in California. The idea was originally drawn up in the 1960s, but was abandoned due to rollover problems. This new model doesn't have those issues and can hit speeds of up to 50 km/h.

The company's website reads, "Imagine personal flight as intuitive as riding a bike." However, company founder Mark De Roche told CBC News they have no plans to put what is in the video into production.

5. Man owned after slashing boss's tire

This man must have been upset with his boss so he decided to slash his tire, but the man didn't think the tire would fire back. Some sort of powerful blast suddenly shoots from the tire and the man flies back landing on the ground and hitting his head on the nearby steps. The blast was so strong it blew his shirt off.
