Obama’s foot on Oval Office desk sends Republicans into a tizzy
Republicans and sticklers for manners have a message for U.S. President Barack Obama: Mr. President, please remove your shoes from the furniture.
A photo of the president talking on the phone appeared on the front page of the Drudge Report over the weekend, leading Fox News host Lou Dobbs and others to criticize his treatment of the antique Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

However, as the Blaze shows in pictures, Obama isn't the first president to release photos of himself looking casual, feet up on the desk; President George W. Bush and Gerald R. Ford have done it too.

CNN asked people on the street how they felt about the president's pose, and while some of them said it seemed impolite, others laughed, shrugged or said without concern, "it's a desk."
