Ohio woman, Josephine Harris, drops dead after meeting Obama

The Ann's Place restaurant owner in Akron, Ohio, was taken to the hospital after serving the president breakfast

Josephine "Ann" Harris, 70, met U.S. President Barack Obama, gave him a hug and served him breakfast when he stopped at her Ohio restaurant for a bite Friday morning.

But just a few hours later, Harris was taken by ambulance to Akron General Medical Center when she complained of fatigue and a tingling feeling.

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, she was pronounced dead at 11:18 a.m.

"I'm sure this was her highlight," said Frankie Adkins, Harris' sister, who lives in Tulsa, Okla. to the Beacon Journal. "She loved Obama."

The stop at Ann's Place is part of Obama's bus tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania where he is stumping much of the rust belt.
