Soon after news broke of Flint, Michigan’s contaminated drinking water crisis, several celebrities started to step up with donations to help over 100,000 residents buy water they so desperately need each day.

Rapper and actor The Game is one of the latest to pitch in with a $500,000 donation which he announced on Instagram while goading other celebrities and companies to be more generous.

But while he was sharing confirmation of the money transfer for his pledge, the screenshot of his account also showed the musician has over $13 million sitting in his bank account.

It’s not clear exactly why The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, revealed the staggering account balance, but what is for sure it that he can put his money where his mouth is when calling $10,000 donations from Madonna and Jimmy Fallon “cute.”

As to why he’s donating the cash, the Game laid out two main reasons.

“#1 because my younger sister & her children live there & 2nd because I care,” the post reads. “Most celebs on here faking using the word "Pledge” in their so called donations are not fooling anyone!“

The Game also claims to be making the contribution on behalf of his charity, the Robin Hood Project, with ”$500,000 coming out of my own pocket (which is everything I’ve made on tour up to this point).“
