International Space Station (ISS) commander Tim Kopra gave Vancouver a shout out on Monday with a tweet featuring an image of the city from space.

“Greetings @CityofVancouver from @Space_Station!”, Kopra tweeted under his handle @astro_tim. He also included mentions to the Vancouver Canucks and Canada in his tweet.

The image shows downtown, parts of the North Shore and Stanley Park as CTV News Vancouver noted.

The Canucks responded to Kopra with their own tweet. “Greetings to you too, Tim! Do our young guns shine as bright up there as they do down here?” the team said.

The Vancouver International Airport (YVR) also got in the fun by tweeting: “Absolutely awesome! Next time try and snag one of YVR, the view from space really captures our good side :)”

Kopra regularly shares images of cities from around the world on Twitter and recently tweeted pictures of Brisbane, Rio and Toronto as well.
