Woman ‘disappearing’ on live TV has people questioning reality

In a case of perfect synchronicity, a woman seems to vanish during a live television broadcast.

In the clip, shot for a Danish television station, a blond woman stands in the background with her arms crossed, chatting with another woman who begins to push a large carriage filled with luggage. As the woman with the carriage begins to walk away, the blond woman seems to disappear.

The video clip, which was shot in an airport baggage terminal, has already been viewed nearly six million times since it was posted to Reddit two days ago.

The clip has sparked numerous sensational headlines like, “Woman mysteriously disappears on live television,” and, from The Daily Mail, “Internet is baffled after woman ‘DISAPPEARS’ on live TV.”

We think one commenter on that Daily Mail article had it right when they wrote, “The interwebs baffles easily lately…Doh!”

We apologize in advance for the conspiracy theory buzzkill, but it doesn’t take a genius to see that what might appear to be a disappearing act is simply a case of perfect timing. The blond woman turns at the exact moment the woman with the cart passes in front of her, obscuring the camera’s view as she walked out of frame.

Magic!

Ok, so it’s not magic, but it’s still a pretty incredible coincidence. Either that, or as one commenter put it, “The Matrix is broken again.”
