Woman thinks her hands are Pac-Man characters after waking up from surgery

This hilarious video captured the moment that Jenn Peckham woke up from an operation convinced that her hands were the characters from Pac-Man.

“After my leg surgery, my hands were the Pac-Man characters,” Peckham wrote in the description of the YouTube video. “Nothing else to explain.”

In the video, Peckham, who’s perfectly recreating the “waka-waka” Pac-Man sounds, guides her ‘Pac-Man’ aimlessly and blissfully through the air.

But anyone who’s played the 1980’s classic knows that trouble is always lying just around the corner.

Peckham’s right hand quickly becomes her left hand’s worst nightmare, as it assumes Pac-Man’s biggest enemy: the ghost.

“Here’s the ghost; it’s chasing you,” she warns her Pac-Man. Unfazed, the Pac-Man continues in its pursuit, and wanders closer and closer to the ghost, that is really just Peckham’s index finger. “No, it’s chasing you!”

Now, genuinely stressing out about her Pac-Man’s well being, Peckham breaks down and bursts into tears.

“Oh man that’s a bad idea, I don’t know where to go,” she weeps.

Little did she realize that she had just unlocked a new character: her mom.

Heroically, her mother turned Pac-Man in a different direction, and told her, “He’s going to turn this way; that’s all.”

With the new direction, Pac-Man finds itself safe to finally continue on.

“There he goes,” said her mom. “He’s getting away. Good job Pac-Man.”

Seconds after, Peckham throws her head back onto her pillow in despair, proving that it’s not a game for the faint of heart.
