iPad survives free fall from space

G-Form is pretty confident about its amour-like "extreme electronics cases." So much so that the company recently dropped an iPad from space.

The iPad survived the 100,000-foot free fall.

Protected only by the G-Form's Extreme Edge case, the iPad landed on rugged Nevada terrain in good-as-new working condition.

This stunt followed earlier tests in which iPads were thrown from a speeding car, launched from a slingshot and used in a game of Frisbee. Watch those stunts here.

While the test is impressive, it's still probably not recommend to hurl your electronic devices out of windows or off your apartment building's roof.
