Little girl lets cow inside, adorably tries to explain situation

Five-year-old Brianna let the family’s pet cow into the back porch of the house — and then used fibs and misdirection to explain how the cow ended up there.

Her mother, Billie Jo Decker, wasn’t believing any of it. Still, instead of yelling at her daughter, Decker let Brianna tell her all about cleaning up cow dung — which she obviously didn’t do — and how the cow tried to eat her up.

Decker’s patience with her daughter paid off. Soon Brianna was cuddling up to the cow, melting her mom’s heart — and likely getting off the hook for letting the animal inside.

“This is so special. You have no idea how special this is,” Decker said, watching the girl and her cow resting against each other.

“We need to stop eating beef. You know that, don’t you?”

“My daughter absolutely loves her animals and has a gift communicating with each one,” Decker wrote on YouTube, adding that the 5-year-old girl “saw nothing wrong with letting the cow in.”

The video was originally posted in April, but is only going viral this week.
